Delano Marketplace Regional Shopping Center’s grand opening ceremony on August 14th, 2013
The long-anticipated Delano Marketplace Regional Shopping Center in Kern County had its grand opening ceremony on August 14th, 2013 with a Pre-opening media event on August 11th, 2013.
The Wal-Mart Superstore is the only large-scale shopping center in the City, which not only provides a large number of employment opportunities, but also stimulates the local economy. It is anticipated to draw a large crowd to the Delano Marketplace.
The store manager of Wal-Mart said at the opening ceremony that Wal-Mart is very optimistic about the spending power of local residents. The Wal-Mart Superstore opening looks forward to providing local residents with the most affordable prices to enjoy the highest quality shopping experience. As the real estate developer for the shopping center, YK America was invited to participate in the grand opening event at Wal-Mart. YK America President David Lu and Senior VP Howard Ting had photos taken with Wal-Mart’s store manager Chris Fulmer and Kern County Supervisor Mick Gleason.
Within the same shopping center as the Wal-Mart Superstore, the McDonald’s restaurant and Panda Express restaurant are also set to open soon. YK America’s project will soon become a major destination for shopping, dining and entertainment for the local community.
